Our History
Old Kampala Senior Secondary School was founded in 1932 by two Indian brothers Mr. K. D Gupta who was Head teacher from 1932-1937 and Mr. M. D Gupta who was Head teacher from 1938-1945. The school has so far had 16 Headteachers after the leadership of the two founders.

Dear Parents, Students, Staff and Members of the Old Kampala Senior Secondary School Community,
I warmly welcome you to term I 2026 and extend my sincere appreciation to all members of our school community for your continued support and commitment to the growth of Old Kampala Senior Secondary School.
As we begin this term, we renew our dedication to academic excellence, discipline and holistic development of our students. Our school continues to build on a proud tradition of nurturing responsible, knowledgeable and confident young individuals who are prepared to contribute positively to society.
I am also pleased to inform you that the school has officially transitioned to a new and updated website platform. This change is part of our ongoing efforts to improve communication, transparency and accessibility of information for parents, students, staff, and the wider public. Through this platform, we aim to provide timely updates on school activities, academic programs, announcements and important resources for our community.
This development reflects our commitment to embracing progress and innovation while maintaining the values and standards that define Old Kampala Senior Secondary School. We believe that strengthening our communication channels will further enhance collaboration between the school, families and all stakeholders.
As we move forward this term, I encourage our students to remain focused, disciplined, and determined in their studies.
